Mark C. Hewitt
Mark C. Hewitt is a writer, theatremaker and director of live literature productions. He has directed over 10 productions by established and emerging writers, including 'Dementia Diaries' by Maria Jastrzebska, 'Puff' by John Agard, 'Dora vs Picasso' by Grace Nichols and 'Zones of Avoidance' by Maggie Sawkins, which was winner of The Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry. As a writer, his main focus is writing for theatre and performance. His café play 'The Revenge Fantasy Club' was nominated for the Best New Play Award at Brighton Fringe 2013. He is also interested in site specific work and the use of text in the public realm and has collaborative works on permanent display on the Isle of Sheppey and at Plumpton Station in Sussex.
